Six years ago, Ashley Lane's boyfriend Nick Rider and friend Skylar Kane's mother were killed by Skylar's best friend Ashley and her boyfriend Nick after stealing Skylar's company shares. They then set Skylar up for a one-night stand with Damon Zabel while she was drunk. Skylar eventually discovered the truth but when she confronted them they pushed her off a cliff to her death.
